European OpticalPrivacy Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
This policy explains how European Optical handles personal information when you visit the store, use our website, communicate with us, book an appointment, place an order, request support or use our WhatsApp services.
We may collect your name, phone number, contact preferences, appointment details, order and payment records, products and services provided, prescription and eye-care information supplied for your service, feedback, and messages exchanged with our team or automated assistant. We may also receive limited technical information needed to operate and secure our website and messaging services.
We use information to provide and document optical services, manage appointments and orders, answer questions, process payments, send requested service updates and reminders, request feedback, improve customer care, prevent misuse and meet legitimate accounting or legal obligations.
When you contact us on WhatsApp, or consent to receive service messages, your phone number and message content are processed through the WhatsApp Business Platform operated by Meta. Proactive messages are sent only where we have a valid service reason and the required consent or platform permission. You can reply STOP at any time to stop proactive WhatsApp messages.
We do not sell customer information. We disclose it only to authorized staff and trusted providers that help us host, secure, back up or deliver our services, including communication providers, when reasonably necessary. Providers may process information under their own privacy terms and applicable law.
We keep information only as long as needed for customer service, warranty, clinical or prescription continuity, accounting, security and applicable legal requirements. We use access controls, encrypted credentials, protected backups and activity records to reduce unauthorized access. No electronic system can guarantee absolute security.
You may ask us to explain, correct or delete personal information we control, subject to records we must retain for legitimate business, clinical, accounting or legal reasons. You may also withdraw messaging consent or change your preferred language.
To request deletion, correction or a copy of your information, contact us using the email below with your name and phone number. We may verify your identity before acting on the request. We will confirm what can be deleted and what must be retained, and will respond within a reasonable period.
Our public website does not use advertising cookies. The private staff application uses essential security and session cookies so authorized users can sign in safely. We may retain basic server logs for reliability, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.
When services concern a child, information should be provided or authorized by a parent or legal guardian. We do not intentionally use children's information for advertising.
We may update this policy when our services, providers or legal responsibilities change. The date at the top identifies the current version.
